Set on the outskirts of Veni village, only 5 min. driving from the famous Kolymvari town, the villa of high aesthetic, with the private pool and the amazing garden, promises unique holiday moments of privacy and tranquility, with easy access to the most popular beaches of Crete, such as Balos, Falassarna and Elafonisi!

The space

Villa Mikros Carpos is the "fresh fruit" of the Cretan countryside, as its name states, waiting for you to enjoy the freshness of our brand-new villa and have a unique experience during your holidays in Crete! Set in a land of 600 sq.m. on the outskirts of Veni village, the villa combines isolation and quietness with easy access to many famous villages in the area, such as Kolymvari and Kissamos, where you can find all the amenities you may need. Many famous beaches, such as the North coast beach of Chania and Kissamos with many varieties of pebbly or sandy spots, will fulfill all your expectations.

The two- story Villa Mikros Carpos, surrounded by a big lawn garden and rich plantation, features a wonderful pool with children's area and high aesthetic decoration, combining the natural elements of stone and wood with contemporary design! Relaxing all day in the villa, enjoying the sun of the Greek islands or having a cocktail next to the pool, enjoying the lovely sunset will lead you to a superior pleasure in your holidays.

Indoor Layout

Entering the villa, there is an open plan area with big balcony doors, featuring a living room, a dining table and a fully - equipped kitchen. The villa has two bedrooms, one on the ground floor (two single or one super king bed) and the second one in the attic of the first floor (king size). The bedrooms can host 4 guests, while there are two sofa beds for 2 extra guests. The villa also has the main bathroom and an en-suite one.

The living room has a big comfortable sofa, air conditioning unit, a beautiful traditional stone made fireplace, satellite HD TV with DVD player and Nintendo Wii to spend funny moments with your family! The big balcony doors offer access to a beautifully furnished veranda, the pool area and the garden. In the same space, the fully equipped kitchen and a big, wooden dining table will make your family meals even more special!

A staircase of unique design leads to the villa's spacious attic on the first floor. There, you will find the Master bedroom with a spacious king-size bed, two closets, en-suite WC and a sofa bed. The bedroom is equipped with air conditioning system, HD TV and gives access to a balcony with a small coffee table, ideal to enjoy your morning coffee! The open window at the back of the bed, facing the ground floor is the highlight of this bedroom!

Getting back to the ground floor, you will find the second bedroom, with two single beds of ergonomic hotel type, which can be adjusted as a super king double bed. There is an air-conditioning system also in this bedroom. Minimal decoration and natural colors offer a tranquil atmosphere!

The main bathroom, equipped with a shower cabinet and washing machine, is also on the ground floor.

High speed Wi-Fi connection is offered for free in the entire villa.

Outdoor Layout

The outdoor area features a beautiful fenced lawn garden with trees and flowers, where children can spend hours of playing in safety. The pool area, with a 40 sq.m. pool with children's section, modern, comfortable sunbeds and a wooden shower cabinet will be your favorite option to relax and have a breath of coolness! When lunch time comes, the spacious dining area with a big table, a BBQ with a sink and a wooden pergola, surrounded by olive trees is ideal to gather with your family and enjoy special delicacies! The villa also offers free parking space for two cars.

Guest access

Guests have access to all inside and outside space of the villa! Open space living room, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and 1 WC, a land of 600 square meters, 1 private pool and one children's section. Private parking space for many cars, garden and many more.

Other things to note

✔ Welcome service. We will wait for you at the villa for the check-in whenever you arrive. A briefing and a map of the region will be given to you explaining where to go and what to see, depending on your preferences.
✔ A welcome pack. Upon arrival some basic goods await you in the villa.
✔ All expenses and taxes of the Villa for the stay time are included in price
✔ Free Wi-Fi, electricity, hot water, air-conditioning cooling or heating.
✔ Cleaning service is offered every three days.
✔ Linen change. Bed sheets and bath towels are changed on cleaning day with new and fresh.
✔ Early check-in and late check-out possible upon request and subject to availability.
✔ No pets allowed
✔ Smoking permitted only outdoor spaces
✔ Upon arrival at the villa, we will ask you to present a copy of your passport and fill in the guest form.

The minimum stay at the villa is 7 nights.

Terms & Policies

To book the villa 35% deposit must be paid.
The balance of 65% is due 30 days prior to the arrival date.
Free cancellation up to 30 days prior to the arrival day.
No refund for cancellation less than 30 days prior the arrival day.
A security deposit of 250 euro is required as soon as the booking is confirmed. If not any damage is made, the security deposit is returned to the guest at the check-out.

Location

Mountains, lakes, tropical Beaches, forests, rich plains all part of picturesque scenes of Crete.
In West Crete is sited the city of Chania Capital of the same name Region. Old port of Chania is surely one of the most visited places on the island, build by the Venetians with trademark the Egyptian lighthouse in the entrance of the port. Many museums, churches, Byzantine monasteries, Minoan ruins are some of the attractions and places of interest near the city.

The villa is situated on the outskirts of the quiet and peaceful Veni village, between the seafront village of Kolymvari and the small town of Kissamos (Kasteli). In Kolymvari (3km.), you will find everything you will need during your holidays: supermarkets, cafes, shops, banks, traditional taverns and a beautiful beach! For a night out, Platanias and Agia Marina (only 20 min. drive) are the best options, as they feature nightclubs, beach bars, many cafes, tourist shops and restaurants.

Regarding the beaches you can visit, Falassarna beach (one of the best in Europe) is only 25 km. from Veni, and the exotic Elafonisi beach with pink sand is only 50 km. Only 15 min. drive, you reach Kissamos city from which you can take the ferry to Balos lagoon and Gramvousa island and enjoy a spectacular scene!

We also recommend you to make short excursions by car to the traditional villages around Veni and experience authentic Crete!

Getting around

A car is necessary for a stay at the villa!
Only 20 min from Chania city and the Famous Venetian Old town and Port, offering a wide choice of activities for all ages. Bars, cafes, restaurants shops, museums, many archaeological sites. Enjoying the promenade in the old Town of Chania will be unforgettable and the reason that makes all visitors wish to return one day to see it again.
Near to the famous cities of Chania, Rethymno and Georgioupolis for great night and day entertainment but the most important with easy access to the motorway for the most famous sandy beaches of Balos lagoon, Falasarna , Elafonisi and many more.

Sandy famous tropical beaches, many stony scenery smaller ones, little villages, great entertainment places all around the region and most of all friendly people with a great hospitality spirit of Greece makes our place a small paradise you will never forget. The famous sandy beaches of Balos lagoon, Gramvousa island, Falassarna and Elafonisi , on the West Crete are places you Must visit on your holidays. Amazing crystal waters in a daily excursion away from all, will surprise you and make you like to stay and enjoy the best sunset in the Mediterranean with the sun going into the sea, giving us a spectacular and colorful sunset, we could never forget!
